In this video demonstration, Windows 8 Forums takes an extremely early look at Windows 8. Specifically, we successfully install and operate Windows 8 Build 6.2.7989.0.amd64fre.winmain.110421-1825. This build, which leaked to the Internet under suspicious circumstances, has circulated widely. The goal of this video is to introduce the viewer to alpha software in its most primal state, explain the dangers associated with intellectual property theft, and analyze the potential future of the Microsoft Windows family of client operating systems from a far distance.
With the greatest respect for the Windows 8 Development Team, we take an early bird approach to the operating system as the opportunity presents itself. Aware that the software still lacks core features and functionality, the video hopes to build awareness and excitement among the greater Windows community, while simultaneously promoting discussion and euphemism about the new operating system.
Windows8Forums.com provides an open, online community to visitors from around the world. It is an off-shoot of the much more successful Windows7Forums.com. Administered and operated by Microsoft MVP award winners and certified professionals, we hope that this video will be seen as characteristically unbiased and straightforward by the viewing public. With Windows 8 laid bare, Microsoft has opened the groundwork for an entire next generation of operating systems that will enrich the lives of end-users and consumers around the world.

Windows 8 Forums takes a final look at Windows 8 Build 7989. We specifically address claims about authenticity in this video by activating some of the hidden and unfinished features in this build. Build 6.2.7989.0.amd64fre.winmain.110421-1825 is a real version, despite comments that were made regarding our previous video in this series. This build, which leaked to the Internet under suspicious circumstances, has circulated widely. The goal of this video is to once again introduce the viewer to alpha software in its most primal state, explain the dangers associated with intellectual property theft, and analyze the potential future of the Microsoft Windows family of client operating systems from a far distance. However, this go around, we will also show some of the features which are intentionally disabled by default. We do not show the Metro UI. The goal of showing these features, with built-in subtitles, is to explain how Windows operating systems have been developed in the past, and how sites like Windows8Forums.com and Windows7Forums.com have been able to confirm the authenticity of OEM Service Packs and RTM versions of Microsoft software. In almost every instance, a segment of viewers make claims that this is not legitimate.
We would like to take this opportunity to again declare our respect and admiration for the Windows 8 Development Team. We hope to show that Windows 8 is a work in progress. This means, that just like Windows 7 and Windows Vista, individuals who see screenshots and videos of Windows 8 are going to have to live with the fact that it looks like a prior version of Windows until the operating system becomes feature complete.
We know Windows 8 will build excitement and will be a great success. The goal of this video is to prove that we are evaluating legitimate software.

I have to replace the music in the 2nd video, thus replacing the video entirely. Please expect this. A company called The Orchard Music and rumblefish have claimed copyright for "Confutatis" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Symphony N)40 in G minor KV 550 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. As stated to Randy and Elmer,
These companies are monetizing a man whose been dead for 400 years!
A new version of the video with some minor fixes on the subtitles and new royalty free music will be published very soon. How ironic, since Mozart died unrecognized, and in complete poverty! They are still monetizing his Requiem mass!
