I had assumed thaty Mike meant that normally to graphicical picture filled the whole browser, whereas now it is in a frame? If so, I think it is only because the site itself has changed the preentation. I see the same pictures that Mike posted in 7 or 8.
Hi
I thought that Troubles link solved the problem but it only works for the home page.
If I click on any of the links along the left side, particularly Anniversary I get the page that's blank in the middle.
But I opened it up in Windows 7 and was able to go to the page and access the files I was after.
I'll have to go back and try Windows 7 again and see if this is a permanent condition or I just lucked out.
Mike
If anyone want's to click on this link and then on the Anniversary link on the left side and tell me whether the get the whole page it would be interesting.
Stella's Walkthroughs - Strategy Guides for Tomb Raider Underworld, Anniversary, Legend and the Classics.

I'm back, this time from Windows 7, and I can access the page normally.
When I click the link I can see all the content in the page.

Same thing, as I saw before. When the page is opened it takes up about 1/3 of the screen, in the middle, with nice wide orange margins on either side. Click the Anniversary link and it's the same thing, still in the center 1/3 of the screen.
Then I use my scroll wheel to enlarge the picture and then the page takes up the whole screen like it should.
It's all just a matter of where I have my resolution set. I see nothing wrong.
I do the same thing here, in this forum, to make sure the forum takes up the whole screen and all the text is readable.
I re-do that on just about every forum I visit, sometimes to get rid of advertising side bars.
I guess I'm just too dense to understand what all the fuss is about. Sorry!

Hi
The problem is that when I go to the link in Windows 8 the pertinent part of the page is blank.
See the image above your post and then look at this one.....
As you can see there is no information on the page after you go to the link.
This seems to be the case for every link to another location on the site.
When I log into Windows 7 and do the same thing the text and images are there as in the previous picture. This has been like this ever since the first time I tried several days ago.
What I'm trying to figure out is, does this just happen to me, or does it happen to other people logging into the site from Windows 8.
If it's just me I'll try and figure out what's wrong with my setup.
I'm using Google Chrome in both.
I guess I'll go and try IE, I didn't think of that.
Mike
Ps. Ok I tried it in Internet Explorer and it works OK so this has something to do with Google Chrome. Maybe some cashe I need to clear or something.
I should have thought of trying IE to start with.
Well at least I don't have to get out of W8 and log into W7 if I need to get into it.

Sorry Mike. I think I have wasted your time. I must have had word blindness! lol. I just did not notice that blank space you were mentioning! It would also, not have occurred to me, that you were using chrome. My wife, who is computer illiterate, recently had Chrome installed, without her permission (she says) and complained to me that pages were not rendering correctly. Uninstalled Chrome when I saw it there problem solved. (That was in Windows 7, by the way)
Site displays properly for me, in case that helps you.
Hi
Just to wrap this up.
It still doesn't load in Chrome but it does in Internet Explorer.
Part of what confused me was that I didn't catch on right away that the links on the page only loaded the new content but left the surrounding material untouched.
So when I first did it I thought it was changing pages but not loading the whole page, once I realized that the only thing that needed to be loaded was the pane in the middle and the rest didn't change, it made more sense.
Still have no idea why the links don't load in Chrome, when they do in Windows 7 in Chrome, or in Internet Explorer.
I haven't seen this on any other web page.
Maybe I'll try removing and re-installing Chrome and see if it makes a difference.
Mike
