Thread: Look Ma Hands !

Hello, everybody.

I dictated the other message in wordpad and pasted it in here.

This time I opened my browser and navigated to this forum all with voice.

I called my nephew Rob on Skype without touching anything.

It opened the program, selected his name, and I dialed him, all by voice.
Pretty neat!

That's not to say that it's all that easy, I didn't have to go over things a few times in this message.

If it gets something wrong, like putting the words strong instead of wrong, you have to say the word and tell it to correct it by name. It then gives a list to select the correct word from.

If it's the word isn't on the list, then you have to spell it.

Well that's it for now.

Trouble, it was supposed to.
I guess it didn't hear me say that, and I didn't notice. LOL

It was supposed to say "I did have to go over things a few times in this message" as well.

And the truth is I can type a lot faster, but it's pretty neat.

When I think how much trouble I was having getting where I wanted to start with, when you only have to say....

Desktop.

Start.

Apps.

Etc.

Pretty much every thing I've tried worked, it will open and run Skype, Chrome, Word Pad, TextAloud, anything you have on your start menu will open just by saying "Open XXX".
