    Ccleaner Update

    A new Version 3.20.1750 of the free CCleaner system cleaning utility has been released. The changes in this version include added support for Windows 8 RP and Opera 12, the addition of Windows Explorer context menu management, and various minor improvements and bug fixes.

    v3.20.1750 (25 Jun 2012)
    - Added Windows Explorer Context Menu management to Startup tool.
    - Added Windows 8 Release Preview compatibility.
    - Added Opera 12 support.
    - Updated History cleaning for Aurora.
    - Updated History cleaning for Chrome Canary.
    - Improved UAC bypass code.
    - Improved accuracy for uninstall items installation date and size.
    - Improved Scheduled Tasks detection.
    - Improved cleaning algorithm duplication detection.
    - Improved file and setting removal when uninstalling.
    - Minor bug fixes.

    A new Version 3.22.1800 of the free CCleaner system cleaning utility has been released. The changes in this version include full support for Windows 8, improvements to the Startup Item tool and Custom Files and Folders, along with various minor improvements and bug fixes.

    For anyone who has used this program in the past, I jumped in at the deep end. I installed the RTM, and ran Ccleaner immediately. It did find some items which it wanted to get rid of. I then customised and installed my software and ran it again. There has been no apparent harm done to my OS.

    I've also used CCleaner for years, with never an issue.
    I run it twice a week for Vista, 7 & 8.

    As I said "There has been no apparent harm done to my OS." - lol. No responsibility for those who use more advanced techniques than I, and find something has gone awry.
    I should also say that I do have a look through the options, before I use any new release of Ccleaner, and remove a couple or so items which I do not want cleaned.

    Yes, one should definitely look through the options of what to clean and what not to, before jumping in head first.
    Also, using the registry backup tool before "fixing registry issues" is a great option.

    CCleaner 3.25 released which comes with a new tool for managing Chrome Extensions and improved compatibility with Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.

    Hi Ross : ) This is a great product mate, So good in fact I decided to purchase it for a year to see how things go. Its great : ) especially the auto update feature.
