Thread: Don't like Win8 Start?

1. Make Desktop the Top-Left tile & when you boot & come to the Start screen, hit ENTER. You'll go straight to Desktop

OR

1. Have the Desktop tile wherever & when you boot & come to the Start screen, click on the Desktop tile. You go straight to Desktop

2. Have an Applications folder on the Taskbar - ALL Applications in a Taskbar folder!

Employ the Desktop Toolbar (+ w/ this you can uncheck Show Desktop Icons... don't need 'em on top of the wallpaper as, they are in this Toolbar)

W/ the above...
Any further need to visit Start has been 100% eliminated. All you have to do w/ it is #1.
