I have been using the Picture Password feature since early in Win 8 CP ( or perhaps RP???) I love this feature.

Me, too. Quit writing out my P/W after about day 1, nearly a year ago. Picture is faster & nicer to see Of course, don't see it very often, since reboot is rare.

    Cheers,

Granted, it is a nice feature as well as most others incorporated in Windows 8, but, I'm the only one using my PC, so don't use it, don't need it, as goes UAC.
If your the only person using your machine, what's the point?

I once, somewhere mention that for people like Don & myself, where it's an unshared computer & no concern about someone else putting their hands on it, the demand for the P/W could be shut off. Wow, did I catch a lot of flak for it.

But, yes, if you know it's always just only you, sure, save yourself the ritual.

Otherwise, try the picture method, ya just might like, even, prefer it.

    Cheers,
    Drew
