Thread: Accidental (?) Watermark removal

Now there was a surprise!
I was fooling around, trying to reinstall IE8 or IE9. (Both failed)
I am in a Global Administrator profile, with Metro menu disabled.
I removed IE10, through "Turn Windows Feaures On or Off". Eventually I had to replace it again. When I rebooted, I found to my surprise, that the watermark was gone!! A subsequent reboot proved the point.

I mus admit that I have been customising various features, for testing purposes.A combination of whatever I had done previously may have caused this to happen.

Here is a snip of the bottom right corner of my desktop.

30 minutes later. Woops. After another reboot, the watermark came back but the warning notice is still gone.

Did not work for me. Darn! Removed IE 10, rebooted, still there. Reactivated IE 10, rebooted, still there. Oh well.

I,m still waiting for the other shoe to drop!
Opened up this morning and I still have no copyright notice !!!

Like everything else, it's got to be "registered" somewhere in the Registry.
Find that "G" spot and we can get rid of that annoyance, once and for all.

Still waiting on the Beta version......
